 “Here’s My Ten for 2010!” Trinity Youth Fund Raiser
Begins January 31/February 1, 2009!

LCMS Youth Ministry is very under-funded.  If there were more funds, they would be able to provide more resources to youth workers and youth.  The idea of the synodical program, “Here’s My Buck”, is to promote LCMS Youth Ministry by asking each LCMS church member to donate one dollar.  The following challenge is an opportunity for everyone in our church family to support our local Trinity Lutheran Youth Ministry, and the Youth Ministry of the LCMS.

Trinity Lutheran Youth are taking this idea one step further…with this first of two “Here’s My Ten for 2010!” fund raisers (one in February 2009 and one in February 2010)…$1 from every $10 gift will be sent to the LCMS Youth Ministry offices in St. Louis, where it will be set aside into a special endowment fund.  The other $9 will be set aside in our special fund raising account for the 2010 National Youth Gathering, “We Believe”, to be held in New Orleans, LA, July 17-21, 2010.  Special envelopes will be available after worship services the weekend of January 31/February 1, and donations can be deposited into the labeled treasure chest in the lobby area. 

By God’s blessing and the generous support of this congregation, Trinity has sent many youth to previous Youth Gatherings, and we are looking forward to the upcoming registration and preparation for the 2010 Youth Gathering.  Thank you for your continued support of Trinity Lutheran Youth Ministry!
